Hello everyone, we are back from Mexico. I am now Mrs. Shanna Ann Watson. Since I have been gone they have been getting mom ready for home. She has learned how to get in and out of a car. She can slide into bed and to the restroom on her own. She has been walking with help a lot further. She did have the horrible flu bug and is slowing getting better. It's weird you would think with all the medication in her that she could not get anything else.
Dad stayed all night with mom last night so that he could see how a full day and night goes. We also had a family meeting yesterday to review things. Dad has been a trooper. He has ran the office, taken care of the house since I have been gone for 2 weeks. Dad took the baby bed and the Queen bed down in the extra bedroom to move mom in. Today they are going to deliver the hospital bed to the house, they got her a new wheel chair and the other tools she needed.
Then tomorrow the PT and OT will be set up for home. They are taking her pic line out today and her medication will be oral only. So she will not be having a daily nurse.
We will be so glad to have her home she has spent 63 days in the hospital. I think she might have broke records. Thank you for all your love and support it means the world to our family.

We continually check for the latest news. While you seem to have some difficulties to deal with, we are sure you will like it much better at home. We will continue to pray for a complete healing and that it doesn't last as long as our healing process has. God Bless, Steve and Ginny White

I was so happy to see the pics your posted. Aunt Di looks like happy-go-lucky Aunt Di! This whole ordeal seems so surreal from the outside looking in. Your family is a force to be reckoned with! I can't wait to see everyone on Saturday. Myself and my two little guys will be headed to Moberly for your shower early Saturday am. Can't wait to see you all! Love and miss you! - Crystal
