Mom has been doing pretty good. In the last few days she has continued to walk with assistance and a walker about 3 times a day around 50 feet each time. Every time she is getting stronger. Right now we are looking at a goal of heading home on January 20. In the last few days she has had a few little challenges a rash, on set of pain and horrible dry skin. The sjogrens syndrome is a lot more active lately than they have wanted. Dr. Irvin did increase her prednisone and put her on new medication to fight the sjogrens. I think it is difficult to control the sjogrens until they get the infection in the blood steam and bones gone.
I will be leaving for Mexico on Tuesday 01/06 and back on 1/17. Please send mom her love and prayers while I'm gone.

hey, momma diane! i have not had a chance to read your blog lately, but it sounds like you are on the fast track to recovery! megan has been keeping me posted, i did not get to see her when she was back, pooo! john and i will be at shanna's reception! it will be my first night away from my youngest! we are really looking forward to seeing everyone, especially you!
i also wanted to tell you that i have the same christmas jammies and boy are the comfy!
